The Lions' Charity Trail Ride is an annual trail ride through some of the best bush country in Australia. The proceeds are given to charity, with meal and entertainment. This year, sit back after the ride on Saturday and enjoy Danny Phegan's Longreach Band, dinner and bar.

This is not a beginner's ride and horses must be fit.

A great weekend for meeting other horse people, while raising money for charity and enjoying the scenery on the western side of the Snowy Mountains.

Tumbarumba to Tooma

The 2012 ride will go from Tumbarumba Racecourse to Tooma Sportsground for dinner, fun and entertainment. (There is no accomodation in Tooma so you will need to bring camping gear) After breakfast on Sunday the ride then goes back to Tumbarumba. The ride is approx 30 km out and 25km return on the Sunday. This is not a beginner's ride!

A great weekend for meeting other horse people, whilst raising money for charity and enjoying the scenery on the western side of the Snowy Mountains.

This is the major charity event for Tumbarumba and is totally run by volunteers with most of the consumables also being donated.

28 - 29 April 2012
Lunch Saturday, dinner, live music (Danny Phegan Longreach Band) and bar on Saturday night. Breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
